Arise and shine, for your Light has come. Awaken to Love

Oh, awaken me to Love Lord. As the sunrise awakens the dawn. This image came to my heart and mind a few days ago...an awakening and the scripture "Arise and Shine for your Light has come, and the Glory of the Lord rises upon you". (Isa 60:1). It's the encounter with the Glory of the Lord that we all need...that I need. The Light chases away the darkness of the soul and heals the places that we have tried to hide from. I have recently discovered in myself a particular place of darkness that I thought had been banished long ago...a remenent of pain that remained stubborn and silent. Aha! The Light has uncovered it and now it must flee! Freedom comes and continues to come. Arise and shine, for your Light has come.
