"And the Leaves shall be for healing"

Finally got to the church to paint again last Friday. I found it difficult to begin this painting, and as a matter of fact I had begun an entirely different scene before I covered over the whole thing and started this. I was kind of at a loss as to what I could see emerging from the canvas, but then I saw clearly a leaf bending so that a water drop could fall off. I feel like this is saying that even when we feel that there is no water for refreshing, even the slightest dew drop can satisfy the longing and give strength enough to keep going. The leaves are for healing.
