Beauty for Ashes

When I began to paint this I really had no idea what to paint. I made some texture in no particular pattern and then random color. Later I saw an image of the black swirls and vines along the edges, so I worked on them. Then I began to see the hearts hanging from the vines in my spirit. I thought that maybe this was silly and childish, but I went with it anyway. Love grows on these vines, beauty from the darkness, color from the ashes and I praise God! Within the vines I have hidden the scripture, "beauty for ashes, a garment of praise for heaviness".
