The Trumpet Call to Assembly

In this latest piece I started off with a drawing of the usual swirls...I wanted to use some gold-leaf and the diamond dust again. I began having absolutely no idea what this was going to become. I knew that I saw red and tourquoise in my mind at first. I used stucco for some texture inbetween. Then, like a bolt of lightning it all come together for me. This is what the sound looks like in the spirit of a trumpet blast - the musicality and the melody bursting forth in a message, saturating the earth with it's sound waves. The call to assembly, to prayer, to preparation. To loose the preparation ministry of angels and mankind.
